The notes should be easy enough to follow, but honestly, it isn't a difficult class to begin with. I have no doubt that you'll get on just fine. To be perfectly honest? I'm pretty sure I'm still in shock about what just happened, but I think I really get it now. Why the school exists, I mean. I sort of thought of it as a training camp with a side of academics before I got here and I just figured I wouldn't have much to do with the training. I didn't realize how intense things could get. Now it's really clear to me how important it is to have people here who are trained to help other mutants. We're kind of at the eye of the storm -- the safest and most dangerous place all at the same time.

Does that make any sense?

	That does make sense. Perfect sense, actually. I'll admit I forget that myself sometimes, but I just have to walk through the halls and take a look around to remind myself. I don't blame you for the fear, I'm still feeling it myself, and I should be used to it by now. How did you fare in the fight? I haven't heard what happened to everyone else yet.
